Where Students Become Authors

Our business is publishing stories written and illustrated by Ward students and WE NEED YOUR HELP! Authors have the honor of presenting completed stories to their class and published books are prominently displayed in the library for others to enjoy until the end of the school year, when all of the authors celebrate with a party.

Volunteers are needed to represent each classroom and assist students with organizing, editing, typing, laminating and binding their books. With a quick training session, this is a fun and easy-to-learn position that only requires one to two hours a week. It’s also a great way to meet the kids in your child’s class or grade level and the kids really enjoy publishing their own stories.
